NICHOLLS, ROBERT JAMES Passed away at Michael Garron Hospital on January 31, 2026, at the age of 96. Robert “Bob” was born in Toronto in 1929 to Eleanor Nicholls (née Otter) and Worthy Nicholls. Beloved husband of 70 years to Ruth (née Marlow); and loving father to Brian (Donna), Paul (Judy) and Barbara (late Ray Codère). Proud grandfather of Diana, Leah and Ethan. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Edward; and sister, Ruth (Moore). Bob worked briefly at Imperial Oil before joining Simpson-Sears, where he worked for 30 years before retiring. Bob was a believer in service to the community and was a longtime member of the Jubilee (formerly Donminster) United Church and Parkwoods Civitan Club. A celebration of life for Bob will be held at 11 a.m. on March 14, 2026, at Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Drive, Toronto.
