Jubilee United Church
Our History
The late Bob Chisholm put together a well-documented history of Jubilee United Church from its roots in the amalgamation of three United Church congregations in the area to what it has become in more recent history. This history was published in 2019.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary Jubilee, having amalgamated with two other United Church congregations after the original founding of Jubilee and the publishing of Bob Chisholm's history document, Pat Lansche has updated Bob's original document with recent history and pictures that help capture the people and moments we remember best.
A record of our history tells us where we've been so we can form a good idea of where we would like to go. The 2nd edition of Researching Our Roots looks back at the five amalgamating churches which have formed Jubilee United Church, as well as what makes Jubilee special today.
