ALCOCK, Ronald Roy. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron in his 94th year on Wednesday December 3, 2025 while residing at Amica Swan Lake in Markham.  Cherished father of Scott (JoAnne), Kerry (Richard) and dearest grandfather of Mackenzie, Garrett, Blake, Wyatt, Brett and Zachary. Preceded by his beloved wife Joan of 63 years, sister Pat and brother John.  Ron devoted over 50 years to volunteering with house league hockey in Scarborough. He was a familiar & cherished presence at Stephen Leacock, McGregor & Don Montgomery arenas. Ron was also a long-standing member of OACETT (the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians & Technologists). After his retirement from the federal government, Ron became an avid wood carver with many of his pieces filling his home & cottage.  Family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt, East of Kennedy Road on Thursday December 11, 2025 from 11-12pm.  Funeral service to follow in the Ogden Chapel at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jumpstart Canada would be greatly appreciated in his memory.  His many oldie but goodie stories will be missed.
