Toronto and District Multiple Myeloma Support Group
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer in the bone marrow that can result in numerous complications in the body. It is not yet curable, but thanks to recent medical research, it is increasingly treatable. The group consists of cancer patients and their caregivers who meet to further their knowledge of this cancer and its treatments and to obtain support from their fellow members. We have medical speakers on a regular basis and devote time for interaction between members.
We meet bi-monthly at 2:00 PM at Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Dr. (Lawrence and DVP) usually on the first Saturday of the month in February, April, June, August, October and December. Everyone is welcome and no previous registration is required.
